Ami Rubinger, born in Jerusalem in 1953, began his career illustrating for the daily newspaper HaAretz. He is currently an illustrator and cartoonist for the daily newspaper Yedioth-Achronot. Rubinger has written and illustrated over 15 books, including many childrens titles, and has won numerous awards for his work. He resides in Tel-Aviv.
