Flying saucer along Highway 1. Wabasso, Florida.

Bob Derosiers built this flying saucer in 1969, at the time of the lunar landing. He originally drove around town with it bolted to the roof of his '59 Cadillac hearse, but the local police made him remove it after they received hundreds of calls reporting that aliens were attacking a car. Derosiers then attached the saucer to the dome of a grain silo and sold it to the owner of a roadside stand that sold fruit or antiques, depending on the season. The business recently closed down, and Derosiers hauled the saucer back up the road to stand outside his woodshop in Valkaria.
