World Soccer Legends series

World Cup Fever is heating up already! With the first round match-ups announced, it looks like it will be a tough but exciting round for the U.S. Men’s Team. Cristiano Ronaldo beat out rival Lionel Messi for FIFA’s Ballon d’Or award which celebrates the best player of the year. Learn all about these players and more with the World Soccer Legends series: the first series of books for young readers about the world's leading soccer players and teams!

These illustrated books for kids age seven and up introduce the hottest teams and players in soccer today. Lynn Berling-Manuel of American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) called the series: “a terrific soccer resource for kids. They combine the best of world soccer along with history, geography and a glimpse at what it’s like growing up as a young soccer player in another country. They’re engaging and fun.”

Each book includes full-color, action-packed photographs on every page as well as the statistics, facts, and complete histories of these popular players and successful teams. A glossary of terms and bibliography provide an opportunity to learn more, while games at the end reinforce concepts, lending the books for use in classrooms as well as reading along with the kids at home.
