New York, NY, January 23, 2020—W.W. Norton & Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that Abbeville Press, Inc., the respected independent publisher of fine art and illustrated books based in New York City, will become a distribution client in North America beginning July 1, 2020. Norton will handle sales of Abbeville’s distinguished list to wholesale, retail, and library accounts, both brick-and-mortar and online, as well as to special sales venues.

Abbeville was previously distributed by Two Rivers (an Ingram brand). “We are grateful to Two Rivers and the many talented people there,” noted Abrams.
Founded by Harry N. Abrams and Robert E. Abrams in 1977, Abbeville Press currently publishes approximately two dozen frontlist titles per year. Recent releases include a new edition of Norman Rockwell’s autobiography, My Adventures as an Illustrator; the catalog of the
exhibition Auschwitz: Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.; and a new survey of Pre-Raphaelite art by Aurélie Petiot.
